The Collins and West Hartland churches have a strong desire  to see the young people of our community involved in the life of the church. We strive to provide programming that attempts to fulfill the young person who is  inside the church as well as those who do not regularly attend a church family.

Awana for 4 year olds - 6th grade from 4:00 pm - 6:15 pm. Awana will meet each Wednesday right after school, or about 4:00 until 6:15 pm. Awana is our mid-week youth program for those in Kindergarten through sixth grade.  Awana is an acronym for, approved workmen are not ashamed,  taken from the Bible verse from 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, “Do you best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. An Awana evening has three parts; the Game time with high energy games played around the Awana circle; Handbook time where the children recite Bible verses and explain to a volunteer what the verse means to them; and Council time where an adult leader teaches a godly principle to the children. Our afternoons begin with a light meal since they are coming right after school. Awana begins in the fall a few weeks after school begins and runs to the end of March.

M.A.D. House  our midweek youth ministry for grades 7-12 will begin on Wednesdays, at 7:00 pm, at the Collins building.
