Alpha

Return to Our Ministries

Collins & West Hartland

What’s Involved?

Over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions, Alpha participants share meals, listen to a series of talks, and then have small group discussions. Each talk covers a fundamental question, such as: “Who is Jesus?” “Why and How Do I Pray?” and “Does God Heal Today?”

The Weekend Away

Alpha also involves an optional weekend away where in a retreat setting, participants hear talks relating to God’s work in one’s life through the Holy Spirit. Participants pay for the cost of their own lodging and meals.

Who is Alpha For?

Everyone is welcome to an Alpha course and people attend for a variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Still others may have attended church on and off all their lives but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. People come from many different backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints — but all come with the same objective: to establish whether Jesus Christ has any real relevance for their lives.

Our ALPHA course will be limited to the first 25 persons who register. Sign up today & invite a friend to come with you to Alpha.
